Date May 22, 2008

I can be more surprised to say that Olivia does deserved a blog here.

Although introduce to me by our wolffy camp pal, Nic Yu, that sweet and truly voice of her has rocked me to bed every night. She represent every young girl of their dream of transcending their voice ….

Made no Mistake. She’s a singer.

Wiki - Olivia Ong, born 2 October 1985 is a Singaporean singer. She sings mostly in English but develop her career singing in English and, later, Japanese.

Likened to Keiko Matsuda, she won a singing contest and was signed to a Japanese recording company at only 15.After taking her O-level examinations in Singapore, Olivia moved to Japan to further her studies and career as a solo artist. In Japan, she became a member of a Japanese pop (J-pop) group called Mirai, before she released her bestselling début, “a girl meets bossanova” at only 19. With her sultry, soulful, pristine and innocent vocals, she reinterprets Frank Sinatra such as “Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars” and other jazz and pop numbers. She is one of the new wave of Singapore talent being exported internationally. So far, Olivia is the only pop sensation exported exclusively to Japan, previous stars such as Kit Chan, Tanya Chua, Stefanie Sun, Michelle Saram etc, have only been exporting to the Greater Chinese market through Hong Kong and Taipei.

So this week recommdation of music, GENRE : BOSSA NOVA is truely here.
Frankly, even my estate NTUC Fairprice shop were playing their album.
That shows how mad this can get.
